New Year, New Exercise Routine, New Workout Wardrobe

I don’t see anything wrong with making New Year’s Resolutions. I think it’s a great practice to think about your life and where you want to be at least once a year (but hopefully more!). Of course, the “diet starts Monday” and “next year” mentality does leave something to be desired. One of my favorite quotes is “a year from now, you will wish you had started today” so there’s no time like the present to get what you want out of life, whether that’s financial freedom, a more positive outlook, a new job or a better relationship with family and friends.

The reality is that most New Year’s Resolutions center around health and wellness. And what girl doesn’t want to look good while she’s working out? Enter: PV.Body, a subscription-style service that delivers quality, stylish workout gear to your doorstep every month.

You simply fill out a survey to help them understand your workout style (yoga vs. runner, comfy vs. form-fitting, neutrals vs. bold colors) and you’re well on your way to a new workout wardrobe. The cost will run you $49.95 a month, which is a steal for a pair of bottoms and a new top from recognizable brands. My style quiz informed me that I’m a Wellness Warrior and I absolutely loved my goodie box.

I received black American Apparel (retail $32) full-length performance leggings (which my closet was severely lacking) and a bright teal striped gathered seamless cami by Colosseum (retail $42). I think they totally nailed my style and the package saved at least $25 on the outfit. I loved the fit of the cami, the length and gathered sides would be flattering on any body type, it has a built-in bra and great cross detailing in the back. Here are a few shots of me wearing the clothes (yes, I felt awkward taking these):

BTW, you also give them your size in the survey and if it doesn’t fit, they have a hassle-free return policy. I must mention that they are experiencing some growing pains now that they have been discovered and it may take a little while for them to respond or for your first shipment to arrive. I can’t imagine running a company out of my home that exploded in popularity! So give them time, they are eager to please. I personally can’t wait to wear this next time I’m at Pura Vida, my home gym in Denver. I’m literally obsessed with all of their classes and I think I will break this in at Restorative Yoga this weekend.

So, here’s the best part! Everyone who signs up through my customized link will get 20% off their purchase: http://pvbody.com/try/katiehammrd. PV.Body is also having a special for January, where you gain access to a personal dietitian and trainer online. Plus, they are giving away weekly $300 giftcards to Lululemon just for participating. You can sign up for the 30-day challenge here, but you will NOT get the 20% off unless you sign up at my personalized link first, then enter the challenge.

So, time to get your butt in gear and workout in style! Who’s with me?

That is an amazing idea! I hate shopping for workout clothes…they always seem so expensive! Do you have to commit to a certain time frame, or can you change your ‘subscription’ anytime?

    P.S. I’m the ‘Cardio Queen’ :)

    • Is it sad that automatically brings to mind Honey Boo Boo and the “Coupon Queen”?! I think you can get a trial, but I’m not 100% sure. I just tried to look on their website and I think it’s down right now. Like I said, growing pains :) I will ask their rep for you!
